![]() ![]() ![]() (i use a free soundfont called it and you can also use it-easy to import into Finale, i dont know about sibelius) What i do alot of times is use finale to arrange for winds only, battery percussion and front ensemble percussion (sometimes a solo track, because solo instruments sound differnt from ensemble and need to be a lead voice).export them as wav or mp3s.then mix them in a sound editor like Adobe Audition (allows me to create multiple sections.full trumpet section of 20, for example).the marching percussion soundfonts i use (not the shipped RowlOff sounds with finale-they are horrible) are already recorded as sections and have a full battery sound. ![]() I have some arrangements I have done that can come close to what i want (be happy to send you some demos). with finales 2006 the midi channels have been extended from 16 to 128, depending on your machine's capability, without loss of voicings and no distortion. If you are like me, i use this software soley for marching band/drum corps/percussion (concert and marching) arrangement.would be nice to have a one stop shop for this. ![]()
